Content Drafts
When creating content items in Author, you start off creating a draft. The Author tool allows Content Associates to create one draft of a content item (with a unique slug) at a time. After the content item draft is complete, the Curriculum Developer (or another Staff
member) will publish the draft so it can be added to the catalog down the line.
Only Staff
accounts in Author have the ability to Publish
a draft. Please be advised, content item publishing is dependent upon a quality determined by the internal Curriculum team. Not all content item drafts will be published immediately.
Troubleshooting
If you run into any issues using the Author tool, please inform your Curriculum Developer. Larger issues will be escalated to the Engineering team using the Learner Experience Triage.
